When New York introduced its new requirements through its broker RFP in 2021, the RouteGenie team worked directly with MAS to demonstrate how it could provide them with the data required under the new New York State Department of Health (DOH) rules. As of April 3, 2023, New York State DOH requires all Transportation Providers (TP) to be fully Global Positioning System (GPS) compliant. For a trip to be considered fully GPS-compliant, the Transportation Provider will submit the starting point, end point, and all GPS coordinates along the trip (“breadcrumb data”) to the Transportation Manager, MAS. RouteGenie is fully equipped to meet these requirements and has been capable of sending GPS data automatically to MAS since 2021, ensuring compliance and seamless trip import for our valued customers.
