Rated with 550 pounds lifting capacity and 1,200 pounds fully retracted and engineered for use in construction and industrial applications to aid in the execution of challenging tasks such as lifting and transporting people, products, or provisions to and from tall or and/or tight spaces, davit cranes can be pro tem, permanent or portable depending on the task, environment, and persons on hand. The adjustable davit arm is secured to the base and can be arranged as needed with a simple tool.
Composed of a combination of advanced composite material, which does not rust, and zinc-plated steel, the davit crane four-position davit boom and mast is ultra-lightweight, durable, and simple to use. Precise adjustments can be made to the boom while under load with an included hand winch, or powered versions sold separately.
Less expensive and more versatile than its cousin crane, the jib, and consisting of two primary parts, the arms, and the base, the davit crane system is easy to construct and deconstruct, making it an equally great option for functional use in both fixed and flexible facilities.
For jobs requiring the establishment of a davit in one location, a permanent base can be affixed to the floor or the wall, whereas a portable davit arm hoist system can be used for temporary projects.
