United States, 13th Feb 2023 – Dr. Rashae Barnes, a renowned entrepreneur and investor, has announced the launch of Evals Equity, a venture capital firm dedicated to addressing the funding disparities and lack of resources for Black women-owned businesses.
As one of the few Black women fund founders in the United States, Dr. Barnes aims to make a positive impact in the industry and close the funding gap for Black women entrepreneurs. The Evals Equity Fund will provide a unique opportunity for Black women-owned businesses to secure the investment they need to grow and scale their businesses, as well as access educational resources and network opportunities
“Black women-owned businesses are the largest growing sector of entrepreneurs in the country, yet they still struggle to access the capital and resources needed to succeed in entrepreneurship,” said Dr. Barnes. “Evals Equity will change the face of entrepreneurship by providing access to capital, education, and a network of like-minded Black female entrepreneurs.”
